Jennifer Lopez Gives Update on Her Twins' College Plans
Jennifer Lopez is unstoppable with her kids by her side.
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer brought out her 17-year-old twins Max and Emme, who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, for a special red carpet appearance during the New York City premiere of her movie Kiss of the Spider Woman.
For the Oct. 6 outing, Jennifer donned a green, off-the-shoulder, floral dress by Harris Reed with a spider-like structure extending from her waist. Emme also got dressed up for the event, sporting a red velvet suit jacket over a black satin shirt and a pair of black pants. Meanwhile, Max sported a dark, tri-color jacket over a crimson sweater vest and a pair of khaki slacks.
And while the family outing was certainly rare—Emme hasn’t stepped out on the red carpet since March—it had extra meaning for J.Lo, as it topped off their full day out in the Big Apple together. Indeed, Jennifer detailed earlier in the day how she was spending time with Max and Emme ahead of the movie premiere.
“It's crazy. We're visiting a college today,” the “On the Floor” singer said during her appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark. “It's happening. They're leaving. They're going.”
But Jennifer has mixed feelings about her kids growing up and moving out.

“I'm happy because I remember how exciting that time of my life was when I was like, ‘Oh, I'm figuring out what I want to do with my life,’” she continued. “It’s an exciting adventure, and I want that for them. But I also think, ‘Oh, I’m gonna be by myself.’”
Regardless, Jennifer—who settled her divorce from Ben Affleck in January—knows her bond with Max and Emme is unbreakable.
“We're close. We're a close-knit three,” she explained, alluding to her kids’ rocky teenage years. “We had to bond together. And so that kind of changed things and made it really beautiful for us.”
