Jennifer Lopez is looking ahead to bigger and “better” things as she celebrates her 57th birthday, nearly two years after her split from Ben Affleck.
The “On the Floor” hitmaker shared a cryptic Instagram video Friday showing herself staring into the camera while riding in a car.
The video was set to audio of a woman reflecting on a quote from Theodore Roosevelt.
The voiceover featured a woman reciting part of Theodore Roosevelt’s famous “Man in the Arena” speech about persevering through failure and criticism.
“When you keep going it just keeps getting better,” Lopez captioned the post.
Lopez appeared to continue celebrating her birthday throughout the weekend after ringing in her 57th on Friday.

Earlier this week, she gave her followers an inside look at her birthday vacation with her sister, Lynda Lopez, as she shared a carefree picture of herself sans clothes and enjoying what appeared to be dessert.
The singer was all smiles in a marble tub, while Lynda, 56, grinned from the floor.
“A double birthday sister trip is always a good idea!!” Jennifer captioned this weekend’s upload.
“I love you Lynnie!!” the Grammy nominee continued. “Happy birthday!!”
Jennifer officially filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024 after two years of marriage, effectively pulling the plug on their “Bennifer 2.0” romance. The split was settled in January 2025.
Though the pair have since been spotted spending family time together, the “Atlas” star has made her feelings on the breakup pretty clear — she’s “happy” to be “free” from the “Batman” actor.
“I’m in my happy era,” Jennifer said in a “Good Morning America” interview back in March. “I think, for the first time in my life, I feel like I’m free; I’m on my own. And it feels really good.”
