Jena Sims won’t hesitate to put a troll in their place.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, the wife of returning PGA Tour star Brooks Koepka called out a commenter over a remark left on a recent Dry January post, which featured Sims modeling a bikini while highlighting the health benefits of the alcohol-free lifestyle.
“Wow how can your hubby let you be online like this??” the Instagram user wrote, to which the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model replied, “I found one that doesn’t require permission 😘.”
Married since 2022, Koepka, 35, and Sims, 37, have long been one another’s biggest champions.
The five-time major winner supported Sims on her SI Swim journey, while the Pageant of Hope founder has cheered him on throughout his golf career, which now includes a familiar home on the PGA Tour.
Koepka was one of the biggest names in the sport who defected to LIV Golf in 2022, along with Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau.
He and the Saudi-backed circuit parted ways in late 2025, fueling speculation that a return to the PGA Tour could be imminent.
Fast forward to mid-January, when Koepka revealed he would be playing on the PGA Tour once again as part of the Returning Member Program, which provides golf’s most accomplished players “an alternative path back to PGA TOUR competition,” as outlined in a memo by PGA Tour CEO Brian Rolapp.
The program isn’t without financial consequence, as Koepka will miss out on $50 million-$85 million in potential earnings as part of a five-year ban on possible equity from the Player Equity Program. He also agreed to make a $5 million donation to charity.
“It’s meant to hurt, it does hurt, but I understand. It’s not supposed to be an easy path. There’s a lot of people that were hurt by it when I left, and I understand that’s part of coming back,” Koepka said earlier this month.
Ahead of Thursday’s opening round of the Farmers Insurance Open, Koepka spoke about how his family factored into his decision.
“A lot’s gone on over the past five, six months with my family,” he said, according to Golf Week. “… Then just having conversations with my wife, my team and being able to make that decision to come back was — I guess tough conversations, but it was what was best for me and best for my family. I think that was a decision that my wife, myself, everybody, my team thought that that was best as well.”
Sims revealed in October that the couple suffered a pregnancy loss.
Although Koepka did not go into detail on personal matters, the nine-time PGA Tour winner has embraced his most fulfilling role yet: being a dad to 2-year-old son Crew.
“Being a dad, being a father has made me grow as a person. Definitely try to give him the best example, best way to live and that’s what I’m trying to do,” he said.
Koepka was 2-over par through 14 holes Thursday at Torrey Pines.
