On November 1 and 2, 2025, BLACKPINK’s DEADLINE concert took place in Jakarta. The girl group continues to make headlines online, but this time for a viral video rather than for the performance. In one of the viral fan-uploaded videos from BLACKPINK's performance at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, it appeared they captured Lisa and Rosé's facial reactions as the crowd began cheering and chanting "Jennie!" loudly and persistently.

As the audience cheered for "Jennie!" and hyped her up, the idol smiled and waved to the crowd, which rose in excitement and cheers. Meanwhile, the viral video showed Lisa and Rosé standing behind Jennie, seemingly looking annoyed or uncomfortable with the crowd's enthusiasm and chants.

Some netizens on social media interpreted that expression as them being outright "jealous" and speculated that there were tensions within the group. An X user, @elnjnk, wrote,

Fans’ reactions to the debate were mixed. Some supported Jennie, saying that the crowd’s energy showed her strong stage presence and popularity. Others criticized certain solo fandoms for creating unnecessary division within the group.

jensetters need to slow down on this delusion things …..chaelisa are seriously trying hard to inquire what the audience wants and here you are trying to make this stupid things ?? mind you their attention to the crowd detail is what got Jennie to do what the crowd wanted😭

@jenscharisma Please rubies should stop creating unnecessary drama this is what subfandoms like doing and I find it very pathetic focus on Jennie instead of setting her up The qrt is making y'all look psychotic please be normal stop creating unnecessary drama

They couldn’t even hide their annoyance 😶 I just hope Jennie can surround herself with people who truly appreciate and care for her

#their faces😭like woahh they hate Jennie bad,wbk tho, they spend their days hanging out with people who made Jennie go tru one of her worse times, hope the group disband soon nd J can be the soloist she was always suppose to be,nd free herself from the 🐍🐍https://t.co/dfujmJ9Ndk

Many called for unity, saying the girls have worked together for nearly a decade and continue to share genuine friendship despite online speculation. They said that the video was taken out of context and that both Lisa and Rosé were waiting for the cheering to quiet down before continuing.

the main reason some groups get hate is cuz of solo stans

y'all want the girls to hate each other so bad its actually pathetic

@organi5aTion The crowd was screaming because they were waiting for jen to say "aku cinta kalian". btw, why doesn't your idol speak while Rosie is silent? You're completely creating a perception. Rosie is always hyping Jennie.
