Jaylen Brown dissed Joel Embiid this offseason and now they're teammates

Jaylen Brown has never been in love with The City of Brotherly Love.

As a Celtic, he was an enemy in the eyes of Philadelphia. Now as a 76er, he's switched roles.

But bad blood runs deep especially between Brown and his new, All-Star teammate Joel Embiid.

Jaylen Brown's Twitch stream became must-see viewing this offseason. The superstar spoke honestly on everything from his successes to his failures.

After being eliminated in the first round by Philadelphia, Brown took a shot at Joel Embiid.

"Flopping has ruined our league. Joel Embiid is one of the greatest players that has played basketball, but he flops. He knows it too," Brown said.

MORE: Why Celtics traded Jaylen Brown to 76ers for Paul George

Embiid, who is known for his ability to get to the free throw line, returned from injury midway through the series. He flipped the series upside down after Boston looked dominant in game one.

Brown's comments could be emotionally driven. At the same time he's not the only prominent player to speak on Embiid's tactics.

The superstar big man has been known to play along with the gamesmanship of the NBA. There's a good chance he's more excited to team up with Brown than anxiously holding a grudge over a Twitch comment. Brown even acknowledged that Embiid is a great talent.

Both players will look to put rivalries aside for the greater good of chasing a championship.
