That didn't take long. The Boston Celtics literally just traded Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers in July, and he's already under pressure to deliver, and fast.
Brown was part of a blockbuster offseason for the 76ers. They also brought on a guy named LeBron James. You may have heard of him. So, Brown and James are the freshest additions to Philadelphia's lineup.
In a feature for Bleacher Report out on Saturday, Grant Hughes names one player with the most to prove on every NBA team ahead of the upcoming season. He pegs Brown as the player with the most to prove on the 76ers roster.

Hughes points out that Brown's trade value has been a topic this offseason. When the Celtics traded him to the 76ers for two first-round picks and Paul George, NBA analysts deemed it too high a trade value for him.
"If Brown is overrated, it's only in relation to his hefty salary, which will pay him an average of $62 million through 2028-29," Hughes notes.
But, he adds that "this is one of those situations where the regular season may not matter as much as the playoffs" and that if Brown can do his thing in the postseason, being a "tough-shot maker and individual wing defender," then his trade value was absolutely warranted.
"If he has a hand in getting Philadelphia to its first conference finals since 2001, Brown's detractors will have to quiet down," he adds. So, the pressure is on.
