Jaylen Brown’s ball-handling skills appear to be just fine.
The Celtics star appeared to grab Josh Hart’s crotch while trying to get around a pick in the early moments of the second half of the Game 5 matchup at TD Garden on Wednesday night.
Hart did not take kindly to the apparent cup-check, shoving Brown in a testy exchange over that resulted in technical fouls for both.
Brown and the Celtics were finding the Knicks to be quite a handful before pulling away for a 127-102 win to keep their season alive and force a Game 6 at Madison Square Garden on Friday.
Hart led the Knicks with 24 points and seven rebounds. Brown tallied 26 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds.
The physicality amped up in the early minutes, with a first quarter play leaving Brown on the court after an apparent elbow from Jalen Brunson — a play that led to Hart taking an elbow to the face from Luke Kornet under the basket.
Hart, despite being bloodied, stayed in the game.
