Jaxson Dart connects for gorgeous touchdown despite some hiccups at Giants training camp

Observations from practice at Giants training camp on Tuesday:

Lil’Big time

Lil’Jordan Humphrey caught a gorgeous 23-yard touchdown pass from Jaxson Dart in the right corner of the end zone during 11-on-11s.

The two celebrated with a dance together.

James Hudson III committed a false start during 11-on-11s.

Caught my eye

Brian Daboll continued his plan of quickly replacing Jameis Winston with Dart on the field when the offense is in certain red zone situations on 11-on-11s.

This time, though, a confused Dart could not get the offense set and was flagged for delay of game before throwing his hands up in frustration.

Then he was subsequently not on the same page as center Jimmy Morrissey, who snapped the ball while Dart wasn’t looking.

Injury report

Malik Nabers exited practice early with a shoulder injury, though it is not believed to be serious.

D.J. Davidson did not return to practice after appearing to injure his hamstring.

Tyler Nubin briefly stayed down on the ground and had his chest checked by trainers as well.
