Jax Taylor’s future on ‘The Valley’ revealed after rehab stint, mental health issues

Jax Taylor’s run on Bravo has come to an end — for now.

“After an incredibly challenging year and many honest conversations with my team and producers, I’ll be stepping away from the next season of ‘The Valley,'” he announced in a statement to Variety Wednesday.

“Right now, my focus needs to be on my sobriety, my mental health, and coparenting relationship. Taking this time is necessary for me to become the best version of myself — especially for our son, Cruz.”

Taylor’s exit from the series comes after he spent two stints in rehab for a cocaine addiction. He has also been in the midst of a divorce from his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, after five years of marriage.

Prior to appearing on “The Valley,” Taylor was one of the breakout stars on “Vanderpump Rules.”

However, he and Cartwright were fired from the hit show in 2020 before returning to the network.
