Jarrett Stidham and Bo Nix go way back.
Long before Stidham had to become Nix's replacement for the AFC Championship Game after the Denver Broncos' starter broke his ankle, these guys were connected as Auburn Tigers.
Stidham is older, and he was at Auburn first.
Nix eventually came to Auburn, too, and played there before winding up at Oregon.

That set up a great picture that's circulating on social media.
When Stidham was Auburn's starting QB, Nix visited the school.
It was 2018, and they were already side by side:

It'll now be Nix with the recent experience trying to lend that to Stidham.
Stidham hasn't thrown a pass outside of the preseason in the last two years.
Nix, until now, has been incredibly durable, and he's been really, really good in his first two NFL seasons after being the No. 12 pick in the 2024 draft.
The Broncos have no choice but to rely on Stidham now.
And these two guys who go way back to Auburn together are now trying to navigate some serious adversity in the NFL, with a Super Bowl appearance just one win away.
