OG Anunoby dealt with a tough hamstring injury in the Playoffs, but with the New York Knicks' dominance, he has gotten to recover. He has been adjusting to game speed, but it seems he is back to his best after Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Anunoby was both aggressive and efficient vs the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3. He scored 21 points on 6-for-10 shooting from the field. while grabbing seven rebounds and dishing out four assists. It was a good performance that got star player Jalen Brunson praising Anunoby.
Jalen Brunson is pleased to see OG Anunoby back to his best
The Knicks have arguably been the best team in the Playoffs. Only the Oklahoma City Thunder can be pitted against them, as that team has only lost one game in the postseason. New York has only lost two, with a huge 10-game winning streak to show for it.
It has been a team effort for the Knicks. Of course, Brunson is the star player who performs at a high level in every game. However, he has a solid supporting cast filled with good players and elite defenders like Anunoby.

Head coach Mike Brown has relied on Anunoby to be one of the team's most reliable players. OG has been superb on both ends of the floor, which is game-changing for the Knicks because they need him for almost every matchup.
"OG's playing great. Most importantly, he's locked in, and he's doing the things that we know that he's capable of," Brunson said about Anunoby's impact on the game for the Knicks.
With only one more win needed for the Knicks, they have one foot in the NBA Finals. They will need Anunoby to keep cementing himself for the team because he has the profile to match up against the Thunder or the San Antonio Spurs in the Finals.
