Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua are set to throw down in a professional heavyweight boxing match in Miami this weekend. The main card for the event also features a blockbuster fight between former UFC icons Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley. Ahead of the highly anticipated event, let's take a closer look at how much money these fighters could be set to take home.

According to reports, the Paul-Joshua fight could potentially break records in terms of purse split. Last month, the Daily Mail reported that the Paul-Joshua fight had a prize pot of $184 million and would be split evenly between the two men.

Intriguingly, 'The Problem Child' later took to X and seemingly revealed that the prize money was a whopping $267 million. If we consider Paul's cryptic X post to be a reference to their fight purse, an even split would see both men take home a mind-boggling $133.5 million.

For the Silva-Woodley fight, each could take home a cool seven figures for their services. Per MMA Mania, Woodley earned $2 million for his high-profile boxing match against Paul in 2021, and Silva made a similar amount for his fight against the former Disney star in 2022, with a guaranteed purse of $500,000 plus 35% of the PPV shares.

Going by their previous earnings, we could assume that the two UFC veterans are potentially looking at a high seven-figure or low eight-figure payday this weekend.

Jake Paul predicts "a long night" for Anthony Joshua ahead of their boxing match

Jake Paul is confident of his chances against Anthony Joshua and is predicting "a long night" for the Englishman when they throw down in the ring. The former Disney star believes his speed will be a sufficient counter for Joshua's power.

In an interview with The Schmo, Paul previewed his upcoming fight and said:

"Man, speed. You know, I beat him in laser tag when we first met in Dubai. He didn’t see me coming. I was popping around the corners, shooting him nonstop, eliminating him multiple times. That’s because I’m tricky. I’m sneaky, and I’m fast. It’s going to be a long night for him. Long night. Long night."
