Jake LaRavia found his defining moment for the Los Angeles Lakers when he erupted for a 27-point performance to help the team's dramatic win over the Minnesota Timberwolves last week.

But what truly made him a famous talking point around the league was simply Anthony Edwards.

As LaRavia was torching the Timberwolves that evening, a Minnesota fan yelled “Who is No. 12?”, which prompted a hilarious response from Edwards who was sitting on the bench and watching the matchup while on street clothes.

Edwards’ remarks were captured by the Timberwolves’ local television broadcast, ultimately becoming an instant gem online, especially among Lakers faithful.

Following the Lakers' 130-120 victory over the Miami Heat, LaRavia addressed the viral event and admitted that he found it even funny for himself

“I kind of put my hands up and kind of agreed with them like, ‘Who’s No. 12?’ I kind of played into it a little bit,” a smiling LaRavia said in postgame

“I find that kind of stuff funny, because I am not well known at this moment, so I’ll just, you know, head down, working hard. That’s all I do.”

LaRavia went off for the Lakers again, dropping a highly efficient 25 markers with eight boards and four steals to outlast the Heat on Sunday. His two-way play helped LA to improve to 5-2, as they are now rolling with a three-game win skid.

As the team's low-key free agency acquisition from the past offseason, LaRavia will continue to make a name for himself as he and the Lakers are blazing to a solid season start.

“I think that's good,” LaRavia added about the viral clip. “Shout out to Anthony Edwards for allowing that clip to go viral. I think it's good. I think it's funny.
