Jade Cargill turns heads with image change ahead of SmackDown

Jade Cargill turned heads with a new look ahead of this week's episode of WWE SmackDown. The Storm captured her first singles title in the company earlier this month at Saturday Night's Main Event.

The former AEW star took to social media to show off a new hairstyle. She also suggested that she could win a pageant, and you can check out the photos in the Instagram post below.

"Face pretty, I know I could probably win a pageant, baby 💅🏾😛⚡️," she wrote.

Jade Cargill's hairstylist also boasted about the look on Instagram, and the 33-year-old responded in the comments section. You can check out Cargill's message in the image below.

Jade Cargill won the Queen of the Ring tournament to earn a title shot but failed to capture the WWE Women's Championship from Tiffany Stratton at SummerSlam 2025. She got another chance at the title at Saturday Night's Main Event and defeated Stratton to become champion. The Buff Barbie cashed in her Money in the Bank contract to win the title in January, and her reign as champion lasted over 300 days.

Vince Russo suggests WWE botches Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair as a tag team

Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently claimed that WWE botched Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair's run as a tag team.

The duo captured the Women's Tag Team Championships together but eventually split to become singles stars again. Belair suffered a hand injury at WrestleMania 41 and has not returned to the ring since.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the legend suggested the company left money on the table with Cargill and Belair as a duo.

"I think where they had money, and it was so short-lived, I think they had money in Jade and Bianca. I mean, that was perfect. They were buying the same gear. We were hearing they weren't getting along behind the scenes. Bro, you fix that. If that's money, I don't want to hear you not getting along. You're getting along or neither one of you is gonna have a job. That was money. Like we were putting that over. That looked like a million dollars," he said.

Only time will tell how long Jade Cargill can hang onto the WWE Women's Championship moving forward on SmackDown.
