WWE Superstar Jacob Fatu is getting increasingly frustrated with The New Bloodline. This week on SmackDown, the United States Champion tried to put his differences aside and stand up for his family. However, in return, he has now earned a reason to betray Solo Sikoa at the Money in the Bank.

Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo were seen in a backstage segment on this week’s episode of SmackDown. JC was pinning the blame for his loss against Jimmy Uso earlier in the night on Jacob Fatu and asked Sikoa what he was going to do about it. Reassuring his teammate, The New Bloodline leader said that he had things under control and not to worry about Fatu.

Sikoa even ridiculed the United States Champion and said that he wasn’t smart and just thought for himself. Adding another insult, Sikoa said that The Samoan Werewolf was “All gas and no brains,” mocking his catchphrase of ‘All Gas and No Brakes. When JC and Sikoa left, the camera showed Fatu enter the frame, revealing that he had listened to everything.

Earlier in the night, the US Champ had created a distraction for JC Mateo during his match with Jimmy Uso. However, JC failed to use it and hit Fatu instead of Big Jim and got rolled up for a pin. Immediately after, he started to blame The Samoan Werewolf for his loss.

Although Solo Sikoa talked trash about Fatu, the latter had stood as his wall when The New Bloodline interrupted Seth Rollins' in-ring segment alongside Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and ‘Big’ Bronson Reed. The Visionary had come to the blue-branded to threaten its roster that he would crush anybody who stood in his way at Money in the Bank.

Jacob Fatu and Solo Siko already have cracks in their relationship since the latter’s Tribal Combat match loss against Roman Reigns on RAW’s Netflix debut. Now, after listening to what his leader thinks about him, the US Champion has enough reason to backstab Solo on June 7, 2025, and prevent him from winning the MITB contract. While this is a big possibility, all of this is speculation so far.

Jacob Fatu could have been in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Last week on SmackDown, Jacob Fatu fought Andrade and Carmelo Hayes in a Triple Threat match to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match. The Samoan Werewolf had almost punched his ticket to the premium live event when he landed a Mighty Moonsault on Andrade. However, before the US Champ could pin him, JC Mateo and Solo Sikoa climbed onto the apron.

Mateo ordered The Samoan Werewolf to hit Andrade with his finisher one more time. While Fatu stood still in indecision for a few seconds, Jimmy Uso attacked JC and Sikoa. This extended window of distraction was capitalized on by Andrade, who hit his finisher, The Message, on Melo and pinned him to pick up the win.

Jacob Fatu was furious with his faction for yet another interference and asked Solo Sikoa not to meddle in his business. Now, this important loss has been combined with an insult behind his back. It would be interesting to see what lies ahead for The New Bloodline.
