It would have been an incredible dunk … if it had counted.

Grizzlies star Ja Morant flew through the air for a slam dunk over Spurs big man Victor Wembanyama late in the fourth quarter on Wednesday night, but the impressive jam came well after the whistle had blown.

The Grizzlies still won, 129-115, over the Spurs, but the Morant slam was the talk of the game, as it could have easily competed for dunk of the year.

The whistle had clearly blown as Morant was driving and drew a foul.

But he didn’t stop and rose above the 7-foot-3 Wemby for the one-handed slam.

According to the Daily Memphian, Morant had no idea the whistle had blown.

“I dunked on plenty of people, bro, he done get no pass. If you at the rim, I’m gonna try you if it’s that situation,” Morant said.

The Grizzlies star finished the night with 21 points and 12 assists as Memphis moved to 25-16 with a ninth consecutive win over the Spurs.
