The New York Giants have an injury concern with quarterback J.J. McCarthy in the second half of the Week 9 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
McCarthy got banged up in the second quarter and, as of this writing, has been replaced by Jameis Winston.
Prior to his exit, McCarthy completed 9-of-13 passes for 101 yards and carried the ball three times for 11 yards.

J.J. McCarthy injury update
According to The Athletic's Dan Duggan, McCarthy appears to have a shoulder injury. He is now getting checked out in the tent.
"Looks like McCarthy's shoulder may be the issue. He tried throwing on the sideline, but was clearly in pain and frustrated," Duggan wrote.
"He's in the blue tent now."
Here's a look at a replay of the hit McCarthy took. It looks like McCarthy could have an injury to his ribs, not his shoulder.
