Former WWE Women's World Champion IYO SKY posted a social media update to share a heartwarming announcement. The 35-year-old returned to Monday Night RAW earlier this week after nearly a month-long hiatus.

The Japanese star showed up to help Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss from an assault at the hands of The Kabuki Warriors, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend. Rhea Ripley also joined in to make the save, setting up a Women's WarGames match for later this month. The Eradicator had been absent from the shows due to a broken nose she suffered during a match at WWE SuperShow in Japan last month.

Earlier today, IYO SKY took to Instagram to post a video of herself and Rhea Ripley embracing backstage, seemingly after WWE RAW. Speaking in Japanese, she announced the return of the former member of The Judgement Day to the red brand.

"Rhea! Rhea is back!! She's wearing that cute little mask, but look at her, full of energy, Rhea is back on RAW. ['RHIO is back, baby, let's go,' Ripley said.] Yay! let's go," SKY said.

IYO SKY opens up about her in-ring chemistry with former WWE Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley

IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley have been in the same ring as teammates as well as opponents on multiple occasions. The former member of Damage CTRL recently spoke about Mami during a recent appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet.

SKY said that Rhea Ripley was "super cool," and at times she felt like a fan. She pointed out that they were entirely different as both human beings and professional wrestlers. IYO opined that they had great chemistry due to their contrasting wrestling styles.

"I think we are totally different person. I think ‘cause she's tall, she's muscle, and she's so cool. I'm not cool as Rhea Ripley. Yeah, she's super cool. Even when I just having casual conversation to look at her, she's so cool. Like, ‘Oh my God.’ Sometimes, I feel like a fan. […] She’s so nice and muscle. I'm running fast. I'm so small, but I can flip and she's not so flipping person like so much opposite. That's why I think we are making great chemistry," SKY said.

IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley will be teaming up in a WarGames match for the second year running. They would be hoping for a successful outing just like last year.
