Italian giants keen on signing Chelsea outcast this summer

An Italian giant could be about to offer a Chelsea outcast a way out of Stamford Bridge this summer.

Enzo Maresca is keen to get rid of several players who are not part of his plans going forward, and one of them is Raheem Sterling.

Meanwhile, Ben Chilwell and Joao Felix have also been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge this summer.

While Burnley have enquired about the possibility of signing Chilwell this summer, there is a chance that Felix rejoins his boyhood club, Benfica.

As far as Sterling is concerned, he appears to have caught the eye of Italian giants Juventus.

According to talkSPORT, the Serie A outfit, as well as Bayer Leverkusen, are interested in signing the winger during this transfer window.

Chelsea's stance on selling Raheem Sterling this summer

While Chelsea would prefer to offload Sterling permanently, the report also claims that the club would be open to doing another loan deal for him.

Despite joining Arsenal on loan last season, the 30-year-old winger did not have a productive time at the Emirates Stadium, scoring just 1 goal in 28 appearances.

Therefore, it comes as a surprise that Juventus are interested in Sterling’s services for next season.
