"It was really cool" - Superbon opens up about competing with legends Manny Pacquiao, Robert Whittaker on Physical: Asia

Superbon's Netflix experience became even more memorable when he found himself surrounded by some of combat sports' biggest names.

Before the reigning ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion clashes against interim titleholder Masaaki Noiri in a unification bout that headlines ONE 173 inside the majestic Ariake Arena on Sunday, Nov. 16, the 35-year-old Thai megastar reflected on the surreal moments of meeting fellow athletes during his appearance on Physical: Asia.

"It felt great. I was honored to represent or bring fame to ONE Championship. I feel like ONE Championship athletes have a global reputation, and the promotion is known worldwide. I was very honored to be a part of ONE, Physical: Asia, and Netflix," Superbon told ONE Championship in an exclusive interview.

Besides opening up about the pride he felt representing the promotion on a global platform, the Bangkok-based athlete reflected on the memorable interactions he shared with fellow combat sports icons.

"We greeted each other. But it seemed like many of them couldn't speak much English. I got to say hi to many athletes like Manny Pacquiao, and UFC fighter Robert Whittaker. There were many top athletes from various sports like wrestling and others on different teams. I didn't get all their names, but it was really cool that they brought together world-class athletes like that," he continued.

Superbon fired up to produce vintage display at ONE 173 vs. Masaaki Noiri

The reigning featherweight kickboxing king isn't sleeping on Masaaki Noiri's devastating knockout power before they go to war at ONE 173 in Tokyo, Japan.

As a result, the Thai veteran has left no stone unturned, and he promises to unleash pure violence come fight night next Sunday, Nov. 16.

"I will make this the best fight in my life, as great as I can," Superbon told the world's largest martial arts organization in a separate interview.
