It took Kenneth Walker one half to accomplish feat no Chiefs RB has in an entire game since 2021

Running back Kenneth Walker is off to quite a start to his Kansas City Chiefs career in the Week 1 game against the Denver Broncos.

In the first half alone, Walker has already made his presence felt, with the veteran totaling 89 rushing yards on 14 carries and 16 yards on two catches.

Walker's performance is particularly important because Kansas City's offense is off to a slow start. In fact, Walker's 16 receiving yards are tops on the team through two quarters.

And, here's another interesting stat: Walker's nine forced missed tackles in the first half against Denver are the most for a Chiefs running back in an entire game since 2021, according to Next Gen Stats.

"Kenneth Walker III has already forced nine missed tackles through the first half, the most missed tackles forced by a Chiefs running back in any game since 2021," Next Gen Stats wrote.

So far, it has been money well spent for Kansas City.
