American activist and commentator Dane Wigington recently appeared on the Tucker Carlson Show and accused the US government of sparking the Palisades wildfire that gripped Los Angeles while discussing the impact of climate manipulation on the world.

On November 10, 2025, the YouTube channel of American commentator and host Tucker Carlson aired the interview, titled “US Government Admits Chemtrails Are Real (It’s Worse Than You Think)”. During the episode, Dane Wigington explained chemtrails and alleged that the US government is using wildfires as a climate engineering weapon.

“The Palisades fire. I’m sure that's fresh in your mind, right?... The ability for the climate engineers to shut off precipitation is far greater even than their ability to augment it. They can shut down rain as long as they want… So, in the case of the Palisades, no rain for 8 months. It’s not an accident,” said the activist.

Suggesting that the release of thermite, a pyrotechnic mixture of a metal powder and a metal oxide, in the air might have caused the deadly Palisades wildfire, Dane then claimed to speak to atmospheric pressure zones. He alleged the government “can and are manipulating” these zones and, in doing so, he explained they can manipulate “surface wind flows, creating extreme zonal wind flow patterns.”

“Many online speculate about that in very fringe ideas of what might cause the ignition. Again, that’s irrelevant. What’s setting the template for these fires to burn with such ferocity? And that is definitely climate engineering,” Dane Wigington added.

While speaking with the 56-year-old conservative political commentator, Dane Wigington also claimed of found a “140-page US military document” which was posted titled ‘Wildfires as a military weapon’. He said that the document named 17 sites in the US as study zones, and LA was one.

Noting that the region was declared a flash drought zone a week before the incineration, Dave added:

“So we can speculate on the agendas and objectives being carried out. The fact that climate engineering is inseparable from these equations is absolutely indisputable.”

Why was a Florida man charged with igniting the Palisades wildfire?

According to The Guardian, Jonathan Rinderknecht, a 29-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of starting the Pacific Palisades fire in Los Angeles in October. The Florida man faces three federal arson charges, including one count of arson affecting property used in interstate commerce, one count of destruction of property by means of fire, and one count of setting timber afire.

On Thursday, the Florida man appeared in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom and pleaded not guilty to igniting the deadly Palisades wildfire that killed 12 people and destroyed more than 6,000 homes in January.

According to The Guardian, on January 1, Rinderknecht allegedly started the Lachman fire shortly after completing a midnight Uber shift. While the fire was believed to be suppressed, it was picked up by the Santa Ana winds and transformed into the Palisades fire by January 7.

Meanwhile, Rinderknecht had reportedly made several 911 calls. According to investigators, geolocation data from his phone allegedly put him just 30ft (9 meters) away from the site of the fire. The logs of his ChatGPT also included questions about arson with AI-generated images of a city.

For the unversed, Jonathan Rinderknecht could serve between five and 45 years behind bars if convicted. He is reportedly being held without bond, with his trial scheduled for December 16.
