But the ones that are the toughest to swallow are when they are evicted from their home, yet left to fend for themselves right outside their home. So close to the safety and world that they know, yet with no way of getting inside their safe space ever again.

And that is how our story begins today, with the tale of a cat whose pawrent was evicted and ended up leaving her behind in the parking lot of the complex they once lived in. but instead of this poor cat child having to brave the loneliness by herself, a tenant jumped into action almost immediately and gave her a home to make up for the one she had lost. And while this rescuer's efforts were not initially recognized by the shell shocked catto, soon she warmed up and came out of her tortoise shell.
