UFC 322 became ground for some unpleasantries as Dillon Danis clashed with Islam Makhachev's team in the stands as the main card fights were about to kick off at the pay-per-view.

Now, Makhachev's sparring partner Magomed Zaynukov, who was at the front and center during the brawl, has revealed what prompted the melee.

As Zaynukov sees it, words have consequences. Danis, for one, has never let a chance slide to throw shade at Makhachev and the Dagestani crew.

To put things into perspective, according to a report by TMZ Sports, it was 'El Jefe's' unsavory comments about Muslims that prompted Khabib Nurmagomedov to attack Conor McGregor's corner at UFC 229.

Furthermore, despite having only three MMA fights, he has on numerous occasions claimed he would make light work of 'The Eagle' and Makhachev.

During an interview following UFC 322, Zaynukov came clean on why he attacked Danis:

"I think it was not enough. He should've got more. In terms of what he's done, it's not much. That type of thing can't be forgiven. You have to be responsible for that. That's our way of life. If you said something, you have got to be responsible for your words. As for him, I have no clue what their way of life is here. They say anything they want. They can insult someone's family, and it means nothing to them. But for us, every single word has meaning, and you have to be accountable for it." [H/t: ChampRDS on X]

In light of the chaos that unfolded, Dana White has confirmed that Danis has been banned from future UFC events.

Dana White takes responsibility for Dillon Danis and team Islam Makhachev clashing at UFC 322

Dana White blames himself for the UFC 322 brawl between Dillon Danis and Islam Makhachev's team. As the MMA promoter sees it, he should've been more aware of the situation that was brewing.

Addressing the issue during the post-fight press conference, the 56-year-old was remorseful of the oversight and proclaimed that Danis will not be allowed to attend UFC events in the future:

"I blame myself for that, actually. They came back and told me right before I walked out for the main card that Dylan Dannis was here and he was moving around, sitting in fighter seats and not sitting in his own seat... It never even crossed my mind, as stupid as this could be, that the entire Muslim Brotherhood was here tonight in the first five rows for Islam. And as soon as it broke out, I was over on the other side, and I go, 'F**k, I know exactly what that is.' I knew it. And, yeah, you will never see Dylan Danis at a UFC fight ever again."
