The WWE Monday Night RAW episode from Grand Rapids, Michigan, will not be live this week. The show was taped after Friday Night SmackDown last week, due to the holidays from December 20 to December 25, 2025. The company had taped two shows last week, because of the holiday schedule, and SmackDown was also taped last week.

The show is expected to be an exciting one this week as Austin Theory will be revealing his intentions of going behind CM Punk at Survivor Series. It will also be revealed whether the 28-year-old superstar will be joining The Vision or not.

Similarly, the Ring General, Gunther, will also be making another appearance, and we might see his next challenger. Last week on the show, Gunther was subjected to tremendous boos from the crowd after he applauded himself for retiring John Cena at Saturday Night's Main Event, via tap out.

Becky Lynch will also be returning to the show after being absent from the red brand since Survivor Series: WarGames. She had been making constant accusations of corruption against the RAW General Manager, Adam Pearce, and referee, Jessika Carr. Lynch lost her Intercontinental title to Maxxine Dupri on RAW last month. She would be looking to challenge the Alpha Academy member once again for the title.

Similarly, Nikki Bella will be there to once again confront Stephanie Vaquer. However, she has another opponent this time, and that's Raquel Rodriguez. Nikki took out Raquel and Stephanie last week on the show, ending their title match in a DQ. The Usos will also be looking to challenge AJ Styles and Dragon Lee for their WWE Tag Team titles. Some matches could also be announced for the January 5 episode of RAW, and there isn't any big event till the end of next month.

WWE's next PLE is Royal Rumble 2026

There isn't any PLE this month, and WWE will have its PLEs starting from the Royal Rumble 2026. The show will take place on January 31, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This would also be the first time that a big tournament like the Royal Rumble will take place outside North America.

Former WWE superstar Chris Jericho is expected to return to the company at the Royal Rumble next year. Similarly, superstars like Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and Seth Rollins are also expected to return at Rumble. It will be interesting to see who wins the Rumble this year.
