Miles Bridges' ex-wife, Mychelle Johnson, has made a plea to the Charlotte Hornets while making shocking allegations against the NBA star on social media. On Friday, Johnson shared several messages on her Instagram story, detailing how Bridges has allegedly been punishing her, leading to a negative impact on their children.
Johnson claimed that Bridges had repossessed her car, leaving their children without transportation. She also explained the inconvenience of making frequent trips to the hospital with her and Bridges' newborn daughter.
She claimed that the events took place over the course of a week, and she returned home to find her car seats had been destroyed. Johnson gave an account of the incidents on social media, writing a plea to the Hornets:

"I always believe in second chances, but when did a second chance become an open door or opportunity to hurt your children when you can't control their mother?"
Mychelle Johnson's plea to the Charlotte HornetsJohnson also shared photos of her ruined car seats and her newborn in the hospital, expressing gratitude to those who have helped her through this difficult time.
She claims that Miles Bridges' behavior began after she distanced the kids from him because of his alleged verbal abuse. She also says that there has been tension in their relationship since she posted videos of him with their newborn, citing the discomfort of his girlfriend, Shara Bowden.
"I can't answer to why. But I can say it started from me removing myself and the kids from him when he started verbally abusing me," she wrote. "Another thing, he was mad I posted this video of him and his daughter, mainly because the other side hasn't accepted the fact that this is his baby."
Mychelle Johnson's Instagram storiesMiles Bridges served a 30-day suspension following domestic violence charges by Mychelle Johnson
Miles Bridges accepted a no-contest plea to a felony domestic violence charge in 2022. He got three years of probation in the deal, along with two charges of child abuse dismissed. While he avoided jail time, the NBA reprimanded him by suspending him for 30 days without pay in April 2023.
After footage of Johnson's injuries emerged, fans speculated that Bridges would face severe consequences. In the end, his punishment was described as a slap on the wrist by many. Since he didn't face serious consequences following a domestic violence charge, allegations on social media are unlikely to affect the NBA forward.
Moreover, taking action against Miles Bridges for circumstances relating to his personal life will be counterproductive for the Charlotte Hornets, who count on him as a key player.
