Is ‘The Chosen: Last Supper’ Streaming On Netflix or Amazon Prime Video?

If you want to watch Season 5 of the popular faith-based television show The Chosen, you’re going to have to go to a movie theater. Like Season 4 before it, this new season of The Chosen—titled The Chosen: Last Supper—is getting a theatrical release via Fathom Entertainment, before it comes to streaming on Amazon Prime.

Written and directed by Dallas Jenkins, and starring Jonathan Roumie as the king of kings, Jesus Christ, The Chosen: Last Supper is an eight-episode season of television being release in three parts over three weeks, in the lead up to Easter weekend. Episodes 1 and 2 (aka The Chosen: Last Supper Part 1) opened in theaters last Friday, March 28; Episodes 3, 4, and 5 (aka The Chosen: Last Supper Part 2) will open in theaters this Friday, April 4; and Episodes 6, 7, and 8 (aka The Chosen: Last Supper Part 3) will open in theaters next Friday, April 11. All three parts will stay in theaters through April 20, so you can have a Jesus-filled binge session on Easter weekend, if you want. I’d rather eat Peeps, personally, but it’s your call!

When will The Chosen: Last Supper be streaming Amazon Prime Video for free?

You’ll have to wait a few months before you can watch The Chosen: Last Supper online. The Chosen: Last Supper, which is also The Chosen Season 5, will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in June 2025, according to Decider’s Josh Sorokach. You’ll need an Amazon Prime subscription in order to watch.

The season will stream on Prime Video for about 90 days, per a new deal between Dallas Jenkins’s 5&2 Studios and Amazon MGM Studios, which gives Amazon exclusive streaming rights for at least 90 days. After that, it will be available to watch for free on The Chosen website and app, likely around September or October 2025.

Is The Chosen: Last Supper streaming on Netflix?

The Chosen: Last Supper is not streaming on Netflix, and likely will never be streaming on Netflix, due to the deal between The Chosen production studio and Amazon, which gives Amazon exclusive streaming rights to the show. However, after the 90-day exclusive window on Amazon, you will be able to watch The Chosen: Last Supper for free on The Chosen website and app.
