Former Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski has found new ways to stay busy since retiring from competitive figure skating in 1998. Before hanging up her skates, the Team USA star became the U.S national and world champion in 1997 and went on to win a gold medal in the ladies' singles competition in Japan in 1998 at just 15 years old.
Since retiring, Lipinski has focused on her personal life and ultimately found the perfect life partner to start a family with.
Take a look at the USA figure skater's relationship history.
Tara Lipinski met her husband in 2015
Lipinski was single for several years before she met her now-husband, Todd Kapostasy, in 2015 at the Sports Emmy Awards. The meeting happened organically when Lipinski presented an award to her now husband.
She reflected on their first meeting in an Instagram post, writing, "One of my favorite events BECAUSE its where I met my HUSBAND. May 5th, 8 years ago on that very stage handing him an Emmy thinking his shoes were nice and also thinking 'man this guy wins a lot'."
It's safe to say that Kapostasy, a producer and director whose main focus is on sports documentaries and commercials, is the perfect match for Lipinski. The Ohio native is also a sports junkie who's fully supportive of the figure skater's sports commentators career and has even started the podcast "Unexpecting" with her.

She got married in Charleston, South Carolina
Seven months after their first meeting, Kapostasy proposed to Lipinski.
The couple tied the knot in front of 245 guests on the grounds of the historic Middleton Place in Charleston, South Carolina in 2017.
Later calling the day "a fairytale come to life," Lipinski donned a hand-embroidered strapless sweetheart bustier gown featuring a 20-foot train at her wedding ceremony, which was decked out in over 40,000 flowers.
"Everything was so beautiful, and it went by so fast, but at the same time I was able to take it all in and take mental snapshots of the best day of my life,” Lipinski told "People" after the wedding. “It was perfect.”
"She was so beautiful," Kapostasy added.
The newlyweds enjoyed a lavish 40-day honeymoon
After tying the knot the Team USA figure skating alum embarked on a whirlwind 40-day honeymoon around the world with her new husband.
The pair jetted off to Maldives, Switzerland, and Greece, before Lipinski had to head off to PyeongChong to work as a commentator, alongside skating alum Johnny Weird, at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
She welcomed her daughter via surrogate
Lipinski had a difficult journey to become a mother.
After struggling with infertility for years due to endometriosis, she and Kapostasy suffered multiple miscarriages before they welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Georgie, in 2023.
While she finally got her happy ending, it didn't erase the difficult path she went down before she got her daughter.
"It made me realize that sometimes life is just not fair," Lipinski told "People."
"For so long I thought, 'Oh, you get a win, you get a loss, everything evens out.' As a skater I was able to train harder, force it. But when it came to infertility, there's things you can't change."
