After dropping their last game in ugly fashion to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Los Angeles Lakers will look to bounce back when they travel to Washington to take on the Wizards on Friday night.

It will be the first game of the season between the two teams, who will also meet again in L.A. in late March.

LeBron James will play vs. Wizards on Friday night

The good news for the Lakers is that star forward LeBron James isn’t listed on the official injury report for the contest, indicating that he will be good to go for the game. James has played in 11 consecutive games for L.A., and Friday night in Washington will be the 12th.

On the season, James has appeared in 29 games for the Lakers and posted averages of 22.0 points, 6.7 assists, 5.9 rebounds and 1.1 steals per performance.

The Lakers enter the meeting with Washington sitting sixth in the Western Conference standings with a record of 28-18. Meanwhile, the Wizards have struggled all season. They’re 14th in the East at 12-34.

More to come.
