The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had an injury concern with wide receiver Emeka Egbuka head of the Week 7 contest against the Detroit Lions.
Egbuka was dealing with a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 6 and was expected to sit out at the beginning of the week, but Egbuka shockingly returned to practice Saturday and was ultimately able to suit up.
That said, Egbuka has been nowhere to be found (figuratively speaking) early on in the Week 7 contest against the Lions. Here's a closer look at what's going on.
Is Emeka Egbuka playing tonight?
Yes, Egbuka is officially active tonight and on the field, he just hasn't gotten involved in the offense yet.
Truth be told, there hasn't been much of an opportunity for anyone to get going on the Buccaneers' offense, as Tampa Bay's unit is off to a sloppy, lackluster start.
Here's to hoping the rookie phenom gets going on the next drive.
