Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui Has Fierce One-Word Response to ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Elimination
Brandon Armstrong is not saying goodbye to Dancing with the Stars.
After the dancing pro and his partner Lauren Jauregui were shockingly eliminated on the Sept. 30 episode of the competition series, his wife Brylee Armstrong cleared up rumors about his experience on season 34 of DWTS.
"People are always so curious about the pros and what their jobs look like behind the scenes because it's not really talked about," Brylee shared in an Oct. 6 TikTok. “Like celebrities, you could probably Google it. But the pros? It is such a niche job."
The 27-year-old—who tied the knot with Brandon, 31, in July 2022—noted that there are “so many questions” from fans, namely: Is Brandon still employed?
"Brandon is still very much a pro on the show," Brylee explained. "Just because his partner was eliminated doesn't mean that he just gets the boot and he's gotta pack his bags and go all the way back to Utah."
And actually, the influencer noted that it's a joke among the dancers that they get busier once they’ve been eliminated from the show “because then they get added to other people's dances.”
"So instead of dancing once a night, they'll dance multiple times," she continued. "Essentially, [they] become another member of the troupe—the troupe are basically the background dancers.”

Plus, one perk of being eliminated is that now Brandon can take part in more choreography opportunities—either with the show or outside of it—and will sometimes help the remaining pros with their rehearsals.
The influencer also noted that people often ask her about Brandon’s pay and what happens if he gets eliminated, joking he’s certainly not doing it as just a hobby: “Sister, this is 2025 ain't no one got time for that kind of hobby.”
“I’m gonna keep it as real as I can for you guys. I don't think that they can speak about it,” she admitted. “I think that's why there's not a lot of information out there. I only know about Brandon and how it works for him. I don't think that that's really something that we would share on the internet.”

She confirmed his salary info is kept private, but noted that, “Dancing with the Stars takes care of their people, so no need to worry.”
And while Brylee is happy that Brandon still gets to be on the show, she is sad he doesn’t get to show off his skills as one of the competing pros, especially as he made it to the finale last season alongside partner Chandler Kinney, with the duo ultimately coming in third place.
“Thank you guys for all the support and the love over the last couple of days,” Brylee added. “We have definitely felt it—both Brandon and I. Definitely lessens the blow.”
