Running back David Montgomery is one half of an impressive duo for the Detroit Lions, who also sport fellow rusher Jahmyr Gibbs.

Gibbs and Montgomery have formed an elite duo for a few years now, with Gibbs playing the role of the speedster and home-run threat, and Montgomery being the grinder.

However, early on in the Monday night contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, we have seen very little of Montgomery. Here's what we know.

But Gibbs has been seeing heavy snaps and touches through three drives, so there hasn't been much of a chance for Montgomery to even get on the field.
