Interview: Brandon Rogers on HELLUVA BOSS and HAZBIN HOTEL

If you’ve spent more than five minutes on the internet, you already know the multi-talented Brandon Rogers. And that’s especially true if you’re a fan of Vivienne Medrano‘s Hellaverse franchise. On Helluva Boss, Rogers writes and stars as Blitzo (the “O” is silent). And he also appears on Hazbin Hotel as the newscaster Katie Killjoy.

Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel’s Brandon Rogers

With over 2 billion views and 11 million followers, Rogers is a legitimate internet phenomena. The winner of six Streamy Awards, Rogers’ comedy clips are amongst the most shared videos of all time.

And with the debut of Helluva Boss on YouTube in 2020, an unholy alliance was formed as Rogers joined Medrano’s Hellaverse. Helluva Boss is an ongoing animated musical comedy that follows Rogers’ Blitzo (the “O” is silent) and the exploits of the employees at his company, I.M.P. (Immediate Murder Professionals).

Helluva Boss was a spinoff of the original incarnation of Hazbin Hotel, the pilot of which debuted on Youtube in 2019. In 2024, Hazbin Hotel made the jump to Prime Video. And soon, Helluva Boss will be joining Prime Video alongside Hazbin Hotel. First, Helluva Boss Season 1 and Season 2, currently available on YouTube, will be available for streaming on Prime Video as well. And then Helluva Boss Season 3 and Season 4 episodes will make their debut on Prime Video. A week after each episode’s debut, they will be made available for streaming YouTube.
