The Cleveland Browns dropped to 2-7 on the season following their loss to the New York Jets on Sunday, and the cries for change in management have only gotten louder.
Since the hiring of general manager and head coach Andrew Berry and Kevin Stefanski, Cleveland is 42-51, and has continued to lose support within the fan base as the leaders who will turn the franchise around.
Could their most recent loss against New York be the final nail in the coffin for the Browns' longtime upper management?
Scott Petrak believes Stefanski and Berry are done after Jets loss
In an appearance on 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland, Browns insider Scott Petrak gave his opinion on the future outlook of Berry and Stefanski.
"If they beat the Ravens next week and they go on a little run, I think we'll think differently, but you know, is that likely? No," Petrak told Baskin and Phelps.
"If 2-7, losing to a bad Jets team in just a ridiculous way...it certainly feels like that kind of game...where ownership is going to have a hard time forgetting when you get to December and January and you need to make the tough decisions, that's how it feels and there's plenty of reasons why you feel like that."
After a promising start to their tenure, including two playoff appearances, things in Cleveland have begun to look grim for Berry and Stefanski.
As Petrak indicated, if there isn't a stark turnaround soon, it likely means the end for the Browns' leadership duo.
