The Jonathan Kuminga situation with the Golden State Warriors isn't only impacting the youngster, who many believe has plenty of potential in the NBA.
In fact, it's impacting a former Boston Celtics fan favorite, Al Horford. According to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints, the Kuminga situation is holding up deals for the Warriors.
The Warriors reportedly have interest in Horford and De'Anthony Melton, but until they determine their plans for the youngster, it could put a hold on those deals.
“Jonathan Kuminga’s situation is holding these deals up,” Siegel posted on X.
Some have suggested that Horford and Melton already have a verbal deal in place, but it’ll have to wait until the Kuminga saga is figured out.
It remains uncertain what the Warriors plan to do with Kuminga, but there's reason to believe he could return to the team over the next few weeks.
Horford and others would likely want that to happen as quickly as they can, as they want to know where they’ll play next season.

There were questions about Horford potentially retiring, but as of now, that doesn't look to be the case.
The Warriors haven't made any moves during the offseason, and will have to be busy in the second half of the offseason if they want to be the team that they're looking to be.
Horford would be a nice addition, but he isn't necessarily the needle mover they need at this stage.
As for the Celtics, Brad Stevens has already made it known that he doesn't expect a reunion.
