Emily in Paris' Ashley Park and Paul Forman Break Up After 2 Years Together

Emily Cooper's romantic endgame is TBD, but Lily Collins left drama by the wayside years ago.

The Emily in Paris star has been married to Charlie McDowell since 2021 and they announced the arrival of daughter Tove Jane McDowell in January, welcoming their first child together via surrogate.

"I have my daughter, which is a purpose much bigger than myself," Collins said on TODAY ahead of the series' fifth season premiere Dec. 18 on Netflix, "and the idea of letting perfection go was the greatest gift to me this year."

So, unlike the titular marketing manager whose future in Europe was once highly suspect but is now heading up the Rome office, Collins' personal life is pretty squared away.

"I couldn’t have worked, let alone functioned, these past few months without you stepping in and up as you have," the 36-year-old wrote in tribute to McDowell on Instagram for their fourth wedding anniversary Sept. 4. "With the highs and lows, your steadfast love gets me through and I never could have imagined a life or partnership like ours. To think it’s just the beginning, grateful doesn’t even begin to describe it. I love you beyond."

Wow, Lucas Bravo's Gabriel better step it up if he's going to merit a communique like that from Emily one day. Not least because she's already enjoying a Roman holiday with Eugenio Franceschini's Marcello.

Meanwhile, it's been a season of change for Bravo, who enjoyed a summer romance with Shailene Woodley that had fizzled by fall. And while Mindy and Nico called off their relationship toward the end of season four—leaving Mindy free to have dinner with Emily's ex Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), as teased in the season five trailer—Ashley Park and Paul Forman chugged along as a couple until just a few months ago.

Park talked candidly about falling head over heels for her onscreen love interest during filming, telling Glamour in December 2024, "Just before Paul joined the show, I swore I would never date an actor again. Besides, he lived in London and I didn’t want a long-distance relationship. When he was on set for the first time and looked so incredibly good, I thought: 'I’m not falling for this red flag.' But then he blew me away."

Of course, the 34-year-old isn't the only actress on the show who's had a few bumps in the road in the romance department. C'est la vie, after all!

Here's what to know about the love lives of the stars of Emily in Paris:

Lily Collins

When Emily in Paris star Lily Collins met Charlie McDowell, she felt the amour right away.

"We both are in the industry and we have parents that are in a similar industry as well, but we met randomly, actually," the actress, who is the daughter of Phil Collins and Jill Tavelman, told Ellen DeGeneres in 2022 about her relationship with the filmmaker, whose parents are Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen. "So we were kind of surprised we hadn’t met yet. We’d been in the same rooms a bunch of times and never met. But it was kind of one of those cheesy-but-true love-at-first-sight things."

The couple—who worked together in Gilded Rage and Windfall—got engaged in 2020 in New Mexico while on a road trip, Charlie proposing with a rose-cut diamond ring.

They tied the knot in a private Colorado ceremony in 2021 and have continued to take on the world together.

"We can kind of conquer anything," Lily told E! in 2022. "We've been through so many changes globally, personally. And to be able to have a partner next to you that makes you laugh in times when you need it the most and helps you emotionally get through things, like moving to a foreign country for four months. I just feel so grateful that I have someone next to me to be able to accomplish that and your best friend with you all the time."

The couple took their family a step further and welcomed daughter Tove Jane McDowell via surrogate in January 2025.

Lucas Bravo

Lucas Bravo, whose Gabriel remains a frustrating piece of Emily's will-they-or-won't-they puzzle, had a big little—and ultimately brief—relationship with Shailene Woodley in 2025.

He told People in April about dating the actress, "Yeah, I'm really happy."

The pair sparked relationship rumors when they were photographed the previous month showing a little PDA during a walk in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district in Paris.

But the romance had run its course by September and Lucas appeared to be single ahead of the Dec. 18 season five premiere.

Talking about what he was looking for in the relationship department in 2020, he told Elle Australia, "Sometimes, you just run into someone, you look at this person in the eyes, and in an instant, in a second, so much is said. There’s an entire conversation going through each other’s eyes in an instant, and you feel like you’ve known the person, or the person knows you—it’s the connection I’m looking for."

Eugenio Franceschini

Long before he was romancing Emily in Rome as Marcello, Eugenio met his partner on the set of the Italian series Medici, which ran from 2016 to 2019.

"I was in the cast, she worked in the photography department, but we didn't exchange words for the first time until four months later," he told magazine in 2018, per GossipeTV, shortly after they welcomed the first of their two sons. "It was a truly huge set. It wasn't love at first sight; everything developed slowly."

Ashley Park

Ashley dated costar Paul Forman—who plays Mindy's now-ex-beau Nicolas—for two years before news of their breakup surfaced in October 2025.

"We fell in love as friends and as actors and as scene partners first," Ashley told E! News at the season four premiere in August 2024 about working together, "so it was really fun to dive back into that together and see each other in a professional setting. Because we respect each other so much in a professional way."

Months after sparking romance rumors, she confirmed her relationship with Paul in January 2024 and shared how he'd been there for her during a health scare—noting "what started as tonsillitis spiraled into critical septic shock, which infected and affected several of my organs."

"I am grateful that my health has improved despite what we had initially been told," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "Grateful most of all to @peforman for being unconditionally by my side through all this. You calmed my fears and held me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, scary ERs, countless scans and tests and injections, excruciating pain, and so much confusion all while we were alone on the other side of the world far from those we know. I love you Paul. More than I can ever say."

Paul Forman

See above.

"We started dating after the show, and it was already feeling the sense of, I was working with someone who's such a supportive person, so generous and so kind," Forman told GMA at the season four part one premiere in August 2024. "It's always lovely to work with actors like that. So, it was the exact same this season, we just switched it back on as soon as it hit action, and it was a real pleasure."

Kate Walsh

Excusez-moi, but have you heard the story of how Kate Walsh met her fiancé Andrew Nixon?

"We met, as one does, on a Nat Geo expedition to Antarctica," the Grey's Anatomy alum, who plays Emily's Chicago-based boss Madeline, said on a 2023 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, joking, "There’s an app for it, guys. Just look out."

So it's safe to say it'll be hard to top that vacation. "It was an incredible trip," Kate added. "And then bonus, found the love of my life."

She let it slip they were engaged when she referred to Andrew as her fiancé during a 2022 Instagram Live celebrating the 15th anniversary of her show Private Practice.

Kate was previously married to producer Alex Young. According to Today, the two tied the knot in 2007 but filed for divorce less than a year later, finalizing the split in 2010.

Lucien Laviscount

After Lucien Laviscount made a steamy appearance in the music video for Shakira and Cardi B's song "Puntería," he was spotted enjoying a cozy dinner with the "Hips Don't Lie" artist in March 2024.

And while neither one commented on the romance rumors, the actor did reveal what it was like to work with Shakira.

"To work with such an amazing talent, artist and human being was incredible," Lucien told E! News that May. "I took so much from that, and I think everyone can learn from that beautiful woman and who she is."

Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu

While Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu doesn’t mind sharing what she really thinks of her character Sylvie’s clothes, she isn’t as open about her personal life and has kept it private.

But IRL, she's mom to daughter Taïs Bean, an artist based in the U.K., with director Richard Bean.

Arnaud Binard

Arnaud, who plays Sylvie's ambitious husband Laurent G., enjoys a less dramatic pairing off-screen with wife Emilie Binard, with whom he shares two children, including model-actress daughter Maya Rose Binard.

(And he is not related to actress Julianne Binard, who had a small role on Emily in Paris.)

Meanwhile, his wife "loves the show," Arnaud told GoldenGlobes.com in 2023, particularly the clothes, "the way [costume designers] Marilyn Fitoussi in season one, Patricia Field, they created a very baroque and crazy style. This is what women and men love about the show because it’s a bit exuberant. We need this."

As to whether their kids are jazzed about Papa being on a hit show, the youngest doesn't care. And, he added, "For the eldest? It’s not a question. They’re pretty much happy with the idea that their father is having a little success in what he’s doing. But it’s nothing special. We live away from the cities so it’s pretty mellow, back country. We are by the ocean. It’s cool. They’re pretty balanced for the moment."

William Abadie

Want to date William Abadie? If the answer is oui, you're not alone. In fact, he's received quite a few DMs.

“They say things like: ‘Please be my boyfriend’ or ‘Take me to the Eiffel Tower,’ and it’s very flattering,” the actor told the New York Post in 2020. “I’m always very thankful and try to reply to their comments.”

Though William didn't reveal his relationship status, he did share his approach to love.

“I don’t want to be too pushy about anything,” he added. “I’ve just tried to let the stars align.”

Minnie Driver

Incoming season five cast member Minnie Driver, who's playing Sylvie's royal-by-marriage friend Princess Jane, has found love with filmmaker Addison O'Dea following high-profile relationships with the likes of Matt Damon and Josh Brolin.

"If I look at my history, what it did was make me want to be married so much and then choose men who were so not the right men to be married to,” Minnie told the Sunday Times in 2024. “So I would carry on longing to be married and to have that conservative version [of a relationship], find men who had no interest in that, and then if one did, run a mile.”

She was briefly engaged to Brolin before they broke up in 2001. In hindsight, she said, marrying the Weapons star "would have been, I think, the biggest mistake of my life."

"But now," Minnie continued, "I’m with someone who doesn’t want to get married but who is the most devoted, loving, extraordinary... Everything I could have wanted in my childhood idea of a husband, he actually is.”

The actress welcomed son Henry as a single mom in 2008, not revealing until 2012 that his father was a writer on her FX series The Riches.

“We weren’t together and he wasn’t directly in the business," she told The Observer, "so I chose to protect him and not have a rain of publicity."
