With a new extension in hand, Rangers president/general manager Chris Drury will head confidently into his fifth season offeason.

- Sammy Blais was traded back to St. Louis on Feb. 9, 2023 after 54 games with Rangers
- Acquired F Ryan Reaves from the Golden Knights for a 2022 third-round pick before signing him to a one-year, $1.75 million extension
- Reaves was traded to the Wild on Nov. 23, 2022
- Acquired Barclay Goodrow from the Lightning for a 2022 seventh-round pick then signed him to a six-year, $21.85 million contract.
- Goodrow was waived and picked up by the Sharks in a prearranged deal to circumvent his 15-team no-trade list on June 18, 2024
