Prince Harry is reportedly “frantically” planning a reunion between his children and his father, King Charles.
The Duke of Sussex is working to get private security in order for his wife, Meghan Markle, and their kids — Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5 — to travel to the United Kingdom, the Mirror claimed Wednesday.
An insider told the outlet Harry, 41, and Charles, 77, have had several “hopeful” one-on-one conversations in recent weeks.
They also claimed the monarch has instructed senior aides to engage in talks with his son and Markle, 44, in order to find time in his schedule to see the little ones.
“While nothing has been ruled out, conversations remain ongoing,” another source alleged. “The King would not pass up the opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, and if there is a way of making it possible, he will do it.”
Harry’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The update comes on the heels of Page Six exclusively reporting that Markle and the kids’ possible visit may be the only time Harry spends time with Charles during his latest trip across the pond, which kicked off Monday.

“His only real opportunities [to meet Charles] were yesterday and today,” a royal insider told us on Wednesday. “If Meghan comes … with the kids, [a reunion is] more of a possibility.”
However, the source noted “it’s hard to see [a meeting] happening” after Harry’s disastrous court ruling Tuesday, in which he lost his case against Associated Newspapers Ltd.
As we previously reported, Markle was originally set to join her husband in Birmingham, England.
Last month, we heard Harry “desperately want[ed]” Archie and Lilibet to see the monarch, who is currently battling cancer.
However, Harry — who previously lost a legal challenge over his ability to have armed security while in his homeland — axed this plan over safety concerns.
Harry hit another road block when his invite to Buckingham palace was “withdrawn at the last moment” after he had “formally” accepted it and finalized his security plans.
The former military pilot’s reps explained that palace staffers said the stay would be impossible because Harry allegedly missed a July 3 deadline to let them know he was coming.
The prince, notably, has not seen his father since last September. At the time, the pair had tea in London.
Harry and Markle were stripped of their security privileges in the UK after they quit their royal duties and moved to California in 2020 — and, since then, the couple have been on the outs with the royal family.
The “Suits” alum has not visited the UK since she and Harry attended the late Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022.
As for their kids, they have not been to Harry’s native country since Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations earlier that same year.
