David and Victoria’s estrangement with their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, reportedly runs “very deep.”
The parents “feel betrayed” by the young couple after they skipped David’s 50th birthday party earlier this month, a source told Us Weekly Thursday.
“Victoria and David haven’t called, texted or messaged Brooklyn directly since the birthday party,” the insider claimed.
The young couple’s absence from the party was described as “a blow” to their once-strong familial relationship.
The source explained that there is “very deep tension rooted in control and different plans for Brooklyn’s future.”
“Nicola comes from a powerful family,” the source noted of her parents: billionaire hedge fund founder Nelson Peltz and former fashion model Claudia Heffner.
“David and Victoria are used to being in control [of situations like this] and there has been a shift,” the insider added.
Friends and family close to the Beckhams believe there is a “long road to mending” their tensions.
“But there is a desire to mend on David and Victoria’s part,” the source said.
Nicola, 30, and 26-year-old Brooklyn’s marriage is reportedly stronger than ever despite the ongoing family feud.
“Nicola and Brooklyn are incredibly happy together, dedicated to building a marriage based on unconditional love, caring, support and family,” the insider said. “It seems this exposure to a healthy relationship has made Brooklyn question his own family and upbringing.”
The source also confirmed that Brooklyn was a no-show at the soccer star’s fête because of his disapproval of his younger brother Romeo’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull — whom the hot sauce entrepreneur used to date.
“After recent years of attempting to set boundaries with his family and encourage honest and positive change in their relationship to no avail, he’s become discouraged and disheartened,” the source said of Brooklyn.
Nicola has allegedly attempted to maintain a “close and positive relationship” with David and the fashion designer, but recent actions have forced those efforts to “come to an end.”

“Nicola and Brooklyn have a mutual desire for Brooklyn to explore his interests and grow as a person. That is what is causing the family rift,” the source said.
Page six reported Wednesday that Brooklyn “didn’t reach out” to David and Victoria when he took a quick trip to London to shoot and campaign for Moncler.
“David and Victoria didn’t even know Brooklyn was in London,” a source told us, adding, “It’s sad, really.”
Tensions with Brooklyn’s parents have been ongoing since his 2022 wedding to Nicola.
At the time, rumors ran rampant of Nicola’s feud with Victoria over disagreements in the wedding planning process.
The Spice Girls singer, 51, and actress squashed the rumors when they were seen showing each other love on social media over the years — but clearly things have started to crack again.
Notably, Victoria reignited feud rumors with Nicola when she left her out of a tribute post to all her children earlier this week.
