The San Antonio Spurs will put their current six-game win streak on the line Wednesday, as the regular season comes to a close.
They enter a matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies sitting second in the Western Conference with 10 games remaining.
The Spurs trail Oklahoma City by three games for the No. 1 seed, but hold the tie-breaker against the defending champions after winning the season series 4-1.
However, they'll be without two main contributors against Memphis, as the Spurs take a cautious approach with their players ahead of the playoffs.
According to NBA insider Tom Osborn, San Antonio will be without De'Aaron Fox due to lower back tightness.
Fox has been exactly what the Spurs were looking for this season in his first full year with the team since being acquired from Sacramento.
In 63 games, he's averaging 18.9 points, 6.3 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals.
Additionally, San Antonio will be without backup center Luke Kornet who is sidelined due to right knee management.
For Memphis, they'll be without plenty of starting caliber players including Jaylen Wells and Ty Jerome.
Ja Morant, Brandon Clarke, Santi Aldama and Zach Edey have all been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
Jahmai Mashack is listed as doubtful, while Javon Small has been labeled as questionable due to a back injury.
Following Wednesday's game, the Grizzlies will face the Houston Rockets Friday.
As for the Spurs, they'll take on the Milwaukee Bucks Saturday.
