Two-time Olympian Ilona Maher stunned fans with her steamy sneak peek pic from the much-anticipated 2026 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.
In the photo, the rugby phenom (she helped the USA score a bronze medal at the Paris Olympic games) rocks only a risqué top made of sheer netting and tiny string bikini bottoms. In the breathtaking share, she kneels in the ocean water in Loreto, Mexico.
“ILONA MAHER SPORTS ILLUSTRATED SWIMSUIT 2026,” was SI Swim’s only caption, along with photo and fashion credits.
The gorgeous capture was taken by famed photog James Macari — and left everyone gagging in the comments section.
“Holy moly!!!!!!!!!!” raved five-time SI Swim model and fitness guru Katie Austin. “Ilona!!!! Are u kidding me 🔥.”
“PARDON???!!?? 😍😍😍😍” added SI Swim’s Kamie Crawford, TV and podcast host
The fans echoed the sentiment.
“Excuse me?! 👏🏾😍,” asked one.
“Ummmm.......DAYUM.......that is all (repeated by my wife lol),” said another.
“PARDON??????” asked a third.
“Omfg I just passed out,” wrote a fourth.
Others seemed less stunned as they applauded the athlete.

“So glad you exist,” gushed one fan. “Wish I had women like you to look up to when I was young. I would’ve had a much healthier view of my body. Growing up in the early 2000s was brutal.”
“THATS MY BACHELORETTE,” said another. “And while we’re at it THATS MY PRESIDENT TOO.”
