Crystal Palace star Daniel Munoz has named Manchester United as one of his four dream clubs. The Colombian right-back has been a revelation since joining the Eagles in a reported £6.8 million deal from Belgian side Genk in January 2024.

The 29-year-old has become a key cog in Oliver Glasner's system at the Selhurst Park, playing as a right wing-back. He has produced eight goals and 14 assists in 81 appearances for the Eagles so far.

Munoz only signed a new deal with Crystal Palace in April to extend his stay until June 2028. However, he has still been linked with a host of top clubs from across the continent.

Ahead of Colombia’s friendly against New Zealand, the attacking wing-back addressed speculations surrounding his future. He named Manchester United as one of his four dream clubs along with Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG.

Munoz admitted that he dreams of playing for one of his dream clubs but is fully focused on Crystal Palace and Colombia. Munoz said, as quoted by Metro:

"Everything I hear out there, all the talk about one club or another, if you ask me, for me it would be a dream to play for one of these clubs. Whether it’s Barcelona, PSG, Real Madrid, or Manchester United, I work towards that, I strive every day, so that maybe one day I can catch the attention of one of these clubs because it’s a dream for me."

The 29-year-old added:

"But the truth is that I’m focused on my club, on doing things well at Crystal Palace, and I’m not really aware of what’s being said on social media. I don’t have any information that any of these clubs want me or are interested in me. These days my focus is on Crystal Palace and, obviously, here with the national team."

Munoz has scored twice and provided as many assists in 19 appearances for Crystal Palace this season. He could be a brilliant fit at Manchester United, who also play a 3-4-3 with attacking wing-backs on both flanks.

Pundit urges Manchester United to sign ex-Chelsea star

Pundit Paul Parker has urged Manchester United to sign former Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher. He insisted that the 25-year-old could be a good fit for Ruben Amorim's side given his injury-free record and work ethic.

In an interview with UtdDistrict, the former Fulham and Manchester United full-back said:

“No, to be honest, at this moment, I’m not greedy. I think you can’t rush it, you can’t just go and get a big clump of players. If you’re looking to take it forward slowly and you want to do something, you have to have something in the back end that you look to build on, you look to build on with that person coming in on loan, or you see you get someone on loan who does well, you get that calibre of player to come in, get it cemented in, then Connor is the one."

He added:

“He’s the one player I think they need. One player who plays a lot of football, doesn’t get injured often, and is willing to play. I’ve watched him many a times when he was at Palace and when he was at Chelsea and every time you see him grimacing, the lad wants to play games of football. If he doesn’t play, it’s a good reason. Even if he’s had a knock, he wants to play football. And I know that if he comes to Manchester United, that would be the cherry on the top.”

Conor Gallagher came through Chelsea's youth ranks and made 95 senior appearances for the Blues. He joined Atletico Madrid in 2024 but has not been a regular for Diego Simeone's side this season. He has made 14 appearances across competitions this season but 12 of them were from the bench.

Manchester United failed to sign a central midfielder in the summer despite their major outlay in other areas of the pitch. They were heavily linked with Brighton & Hove Albion star Carlos Baleba but a move failed to materialize.
