Though his talent and ability are unquestionable, New York Yankees superstar Jazz Chisholm Jr. frequently comes under fire from rival fans and experts alike, be it for his flamboyant way of playing baseball or his outspoken demeanor.

On Friday, the infielder fiercely hit back at his haters, posting a chilling message to X.

"Yall be making me feel like I’m not a normal person even in my offseason I can’t have fun on this app! Like damn I’m a normal person I can troll too and still put in the work!"

"That’s why I’m where I’m at! Cause words don’t affect me!! I’ve been slandered from when I was broke you think now that I’m up! a little back and forth on this app cant hurt me I swear! I thought yall knew me better than that!" Chisholm posted.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. was influential for the Yankees in 2025. Ending the regular season with a .242 batting average, 31 home runs and 80 RBIs, Chisholm earned himself an All-Star selection and a Silver Slugger award.

With things moving slowly on the free agency front, the Bronx Bombers are also reportedly open to improving their roster through trades. One of the players linked with a potential move away from the Bronx is infielder Jazz Chisholm Jr.

On Dec. 19, The Athletic's Chris Kirschner quizzed Yankees skipper Aaron Boone about his thoughts on Chisholm's future.

Responding, Boone said he was still "planning on" Chisholm staying put.

“I do (expect him to stay). But again, you never know what’s going to happen as teams are maneuvering their rosters and whatever, " Boone siad. "I do expect him, but you never know what’s going to happen where teams match up on certain things, but, no, I’m planning on him being right in the middle of the lineup.”
