A popular star has been tipped to become Triple H's right-hand man in WWE in the long run by establishing himself as a prominent and respected figure within the company. Ridge Holland believes former UK Champion Pete Dunne is destined to make it big as backstage personnel in the global juggernaut.
It's no secret that Dunne has already begun working behind the scenes in WWE. A picture of him immersed in a chat with Shawn Michaels ahead of a World Collide event further solidified the belief that he has transitioned to a producer's role.
Ridge Holland, who recently exited the Stamford-based promotion, discussed how Dunne had won the trust of Triple H and could become his trusted lieutenant. Speaking to Cultaholic Wrestling, Holland stated that if Pete Dunne doesn't find success as an on-screen talent, he could thrive in a backstage role in WWE.
"I think he will end up being Triple H’s right hand man, and I think Hunter sees him that way. He’s going to end up doing big things behind the scenes. If he doesn’t do big things on-screen, behind the scenes I think you’ll see a lot more things that Peter’s had his fingers on. Ex-WWE star Ridge Holland thinks highly of Pete Dunne's talents
Furthermore, Ridge Holland mentioned that the former UK Champion was one of the sharpest minds in wrestling today. Holland praised Dunne's ability to understand a match's structure and personally advocated for him to rise the ranks behind the scenes in the company. He added that it was only a matter of time before everyone realised how valuable an asset he could be to the industry.
"Pete [Dunne] is probably one of if not the best minds I’ve ever come across when it comes to wrestling. How he puts matches together, how he structures things, just his whole outlook on wrestling in general, I think he’s one of the best. I just wish that people would listen to him more. I wish he’d have more impact and I think that will come with his backstage role, I think when people start to realise this kid really knows what he’s talking about," Holland added.Of late, Pete Dunne has been essaying the role of Rayo Americano, a Luchador, on WWE RAW, alongside his partner, Bravo Americano, played by Tyler Bate.
