Lexi Rodriguez made her feelings known about her mental health journey in the latest interview. After ending her collegiate season with Nebraska, she joined LOVB Omaha in the 2025 season.

Rodriguez started this season by competing in her inaugural pro season. Following its conclusion in April, she joined the USA National Team to compete in the Volleyball Nations League and the FIVB Women's World Championship. Currently, she has already started the preparations for the upcoming 2026 volleyball season.

Amid these preparations, she sat for a conversation with Hurrdat Sports, where she opened up about her mental health. She revealed her experience, stating that she kept her mental health issues to herself for a long time. In addition to this, she also made her feelings known about her struggles that no one knows about.

"With this app, I feel like for me personally, I'm finally able to talk about things that maybe I've tried to keep to myself for so long with like the mental health and the confidence and all that stuff. I think that's something not a lot of people knew about me is like I struggle just as much as everyone else and so being able to share that and kind of be relatable to these younger girls I think was really big for me," said Lexi Rodriguez.

She was further asked about how she maneuvers through her own journey. To which, she replied:

"I wish I could I say I've completely figured it out but we're still trying to manage that and everything but I think that's whats so cool about this is it's the space where there's constant communication and I'm still learning as I'm still trying to mentor them," she added.

Despite ending her NCAA career after the 2024 National Championships, Rodriguez frequently attends Nebraska's games. She recently made her feelings known about the team's upsetting loss.

Lexi Rodriguez weighed in on Nebraska volleyball's loss against Texas A&M at the NCAA regional

The Nebraska volleyball team was unbeaten the entire season. They entered the NCAA championship with a perfect score; however, after delivering consecutive dominant performances, they were defeated in the regional final round. The Texas A&M prevailed over the Huskers, claiming a 3-2 victory.

Shortly after the loss, the former Nebraska player, Lexi Rodriguez, spoke to Huurdat Sports. During the interview she was asked about the opponent's performance and her team's loss. Replying to this, she said:

"Being able to walk into an arena like Devaney and someone's home crowd like that. You could tell they were confident from right off the bat, but it was pretty cool to see and special for that team, I think, just never being to a final, or not being to a final four in a really long time. Ever, I think. Ever, yeah. It was really cool to see, honestly, but it just sucks that it had to be against Nebraska," said Lexi Rodriguez.

In September 2025, Lexi Rodriguez turned emotional during her visit to the John Cook Arena. She came to cheer for the Nebraska volleyball team amid the ongoing season.
