I refused to be a bridesmaid at my BFF’s wedding — I’m a hot model and her menu was unhealthy

This bridesmaid refused to say “I do.”

Tiele Azambuja, a Brazilian bodybuilder and booty model, has backed out of her bestie’s bridal party after being told she “wasn’t allowed” to bring her own food to the fête.

“I take my lifestyle very seriously,” carb-conscious Azambuja, 29, told NeedtoKnow.

”Discipline is essential for the results I aim for,” continued the fitness influencer, “and I knew that on the wedding day, with so many dishes full of sugar and carbs, my meal prep would be essential.”

Azambuja told the bride-to-be that she’d need to have her own healthy menu made for the wedding, but the pal promptly shut down the idea.

So, the dieting diva immediately reneged on her bridesmaid duties.

“If I couldn’t bring my meals, I wouldn’t attend the wedding,” she said.

And now, the two have beef.

But friendship fallouts are, unfortunately, par for the course during most wedding planning processes.

A few bougie brides have lost buds by coercing them to take out $20,000 loans for their big days. Those who’ve been deemed “unhinged” have been ditched for branding their bridesmaids with weird name-necklaces or slyly causing them to gain weight — so as not to steal the spotlight — before walking down the aisle.

Sam Cutler, a health-conscious content creator, was virtually cremated online after serving nothing but gluten-, dairy- and sugar-free foods to friends and family at her May 2023 nuptials.

And Utah bride Katie Olson Hart, 21, found herself on the business end of social media’s wrath for forcing her bridal party pals into an early-morning workout hours before she said “I Do” in July 2022.

“An Almond mom wedding,” spat a disapproving commenter, blasting Hart for her seemingly obsessive waist-watching.

“As a bridesmaid, I would be cheering you on in the corner with my mimosa,” said an equally outraged onlooker.

“Would quit the bridal party immediately,” another barked.

And while quitting as a member of the bride’s crew might seem extreme, it was Azambuja’s best bet.

“Skipping my diet wasn’t an option, even though I had already bought the dress,” explained the vixen, a runner-up in Brazil’s Miss BumBum 2024 pageant — an annual contest for best behind.

Azambuja boasts a heaping heinie measuring 39 inches.

“I understand it’s her day, but I also need to take care of my body and health,” she said. “I can’t just step out of my diet overnight, especially not on such an important occasion.”

But the model’s plight fell on deaf ears with the bride.

“She argued that the entire ceremony would last almost 12 hours and since I eat every three hours, it didn’t make sense to me not to bring my meals,” said Azambuja. “It wasn’t easy to make this decision, because I knew how special this moment is for her.”

“But I couldn’t go against everything I’ve built over the years for the sake of one day.”

So, she didn’t. And it’s a decision she does not regret.

“It was a hard choice, but I know what I did was right for me,” Azambuja insisted. “Maintaining discipline and consistency is a principle I apply to every aspect of my life.”

“By making this choice, I believe I honored that part of myself.”
