Bill Apter says Bret Hart is "bitter" about Hulk Hogan
Although Hogan was one of the most influential figures in the history of professional wrestling, he was no stranger to criticism and controversy. Recently, Bret Hart claimed that Hogan was a selfish star who refused to put over younger talent.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter said that Bret Hart is "bitter" about Hogan since they both had different perspectives about the business.
"Bret Hart is that excellent, the excellence of execution, right? Hulk Hogan is the excellence of showmanship. So for them to, for Bret to butt heads with Hogan's showmanship reputation, Hogan protected himself. Of course, he protected himself, definitely. And Bret, you know, knew it, if this was true, and he is bitter about it because he was from a different school of pro wrestling than Hulk Hogan was, if you understand what I mean."Despite the criticism from Bret Hart, it's hard to ignore Hogan's contribution to the business.
