Reigning ONE heavyweight Muay Thai and light heavyweight kickboxing world champion Roman Kryklia of Ukraine has developed a reputation as one of the sport's nastiest finishers.

While the 6-foot-6 giant's destructive power is quite evident, it's not even the most worrying aspect of his penchant for knockouts.

After all, Kryklia doesn't desperately chase the finish and doesn't force the issue.

Needless to say, he's a natural destroyer whose killer instinct is unparalleled.

At ONE Fight Night 37 on Prime Video, the 34-year-old will vie for his third belt and seek to capture the inaugural ONE heavyweight kickboxing crown.

He'll be facing undefeated Turkish striker Samet Agdeve in the main event of the November 7 card at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

As always, Kryklia refused to guarantee a finish and let his performance speak for itself.

The Champ Belts representative told ONE Championship:

"I don’t like to predict my future fights. And of course, I’m ready to make five rounds. But we’ll see."

Kryklia holds seven victories in the world's largest martial arts organization, with six of those triumphs coming by way of highlight reel finishes.

The dual sport world champion is coming off a first-round demolition of England's Lyndon Knowles at ONE Fight Night 30 last April, where he successfully retained his heavyweight Muay Thai belt.

Roman Kryklia says his defense is as sharp as his offense

Roman Kryklia's offensive repertoire is so incredibly punishing that most people forget how defensively sound he is.

The 6-foot-6 behemoth operates behind an impenetrable shell, capable of dishing heavy damage while brushing his opponents' attacks.

According to Kryklia, this technical brilliance is what allows his destructive capabilities to manifest.

“I have been untouchable. That’s because of my technical skills. I do a lot of exercises for defense during my training sessions,” he told ONE Championship.
