An AEW star has been out of action for the past few months. He has now provided a massive health update.

Dustin Rhodes has had a resurgence in his career since joining AEW. He has been involved in some incredible storylines and matches over the years. It truly feels like he is enjoying himself in the ring. Earlier this year, he reached the pinnacle of his run in the Jacksonville-based promotion when he won the TNT Championship. However, he lost the title a few weeks later to Kyle Fletcher. Following this loss, Dustin took time away from the ring to deal with an injury. He even got knee replacement surgery done.

Now, Dustin Rhodes has taken to social media to let fans know that it has been less than three months since he had his knee replacement surgery. Given his age, his body is taking a lot longer to heal, but he is still on track with his recovery and should be back in the ring by late February or early March.

"Knee replacements update: We are just under 3 months out. I am still in a considerable amount of pain especially in mornings. I am 56 yrs old and it is taking a lot longer for recovery guys. The hardest thing for me at this moment, is getting up from a chair, and stepping down a step with right especially. My legs have always been pretty thin and cannot wait to actually strengthen them more on e I am able. I am on track for my age and then some and I would assume its because I have a strong work ethic and an athlete. Prob late Feb, early March for the greatest comeback of anyone in their 50's. 🙏🏼 If you can't make fun of yourself, then what are we doing lol. Pic below is me #KeepSteppin"

Dustin Rhodes recently took to social media to say that he is watching AEW Blood & Guts. Tony Khan responded to the post and said he misses the former TNT Champion.
