With the 2025 college football season inching closer, so too does Bill Belichick’s much-anticipated debut at North Carolina.
Since signing with the Tar Heels back in December — much to everyone’s surprise — Belichick has sparked a media frenzy. Part of it is the shock of seeing a six-time Super Bowl champion dip into the college ranks. The other part? His headline-grabbing relationship with 24-year-old Jordon Hudson.
Hudson, whom Belichick has referred to as his “muse,” has drawn attention not just for their age gap, but also for her rumored involvement in his off-field decisions. One of the early casualties was a potential offseason version of HBO’s Hard Knocks featuring the Tar Heels, which reportedly fell apart because of Hudson’s presence.
But now a new project is in the works. According to Front Office Sports’ Ryan Glasspiegel, Belichick and North Carolina football will be the subject of a docuseries set to release on Hulu.
“A docuseries featuring Bill Belichick and North Carolina football is slated to be released on Disney’s Hulu streaming service, multiple sources told Front Office Sports,” Glasspiegel reported. “The series will be produced by EverWonder Studio. EverWonder declined to comment; representatives for Disney and UNC did not respond to a request for comment.”
The Hulu connection tracks. Most of UNC’s games this season will air on ESPN — also owned by Disney — making the series a natural cross-promotional fit.

Still, for all the polish Disney may provide, the questions surrounding Belichick aren’t going away. Especially not as ACC Media Days approach.
“We’re about two weeks from ACC Media Days, and there’s nothing North Carolina coach Bill Belichick or his muse — if Belichick calls his 24-year-old girlfriend his muse, so should we — can do about it,” USA Today’s Matt Hayes wrote. “No hiding behind the NFL shield or ESPN comfort blanket. No demanding to be treated differently because you’re Bill (and the Muse) and everyone else isn’t.”
Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd doesn’t sound optimistic, either.
“If Belichick was in the SEC or Big 10, he’d get absolutely rolled,” Cowherd said. “This thing could be Cirque du Soleil. This has the potential to be just a mess.”
